America's Oldest Burger Chain Is Bringing One Of Its Popular Items to Grocery Stores
Fast food chains are no strangers to the frozen section of any supermarket. Nowadays, the section has menu items from your favourite brands hidden behind refrigerator doors for a fraction of the price you'd pay in the store.
White Castle's popular Chicken Rings are now available in supermarkets across the country. Original and Spicy are the two new flavours available.
They're made with white meat chicken and shaped into a "fun" ring shape after being lightly breaded. The resealable 20-ounce bag was created in collaboration with Bellisio Foods, an American frozen food manufacturer.
While the Chicken Rings are the newest addition to grocery store shelves from White Castle, the country's oldest burger chain also released another frozen poultry option earlier this year.
In March, White Castle introduced the Chicken & Cheese Sliders to commemorate the sale of its 6 millionth frozen slider.
They'll be joining Original, Classic Cheese, Jalapeo Cheese, Chicken Breast, and Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast as slider options available in the store and at home.
With consumers looking to the frozen aisle for new ideas and snacking at home more than doubling in the last two years, now is the ideal time to meet consumer demand for more delicious options.
The fast-food chain claims to be America's oldest burger chain, but it's also marking its 35th year inside supermarkets. In fact, in 1987, it became the first chain to sell its products in retail and grocery stores.
