Coca-Cola Debuted a Revolutionary New Canned Cocktail

There is one legendary cocktail duo that has lasted the test of time when it comes to cocktails. In reality, the traditional combo has been enjoyed by Americans since 1907.

Coca-Cola has announced the nationwide release of a pre-mixed Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola ready-to-drink cocktail.

The beverage will be available in both ordinary Coca-Cola and Coke Zero varieties. It will be the first Coca-Cola canned drink to hit the market in the United States.

The Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD will be available in regular 350 mL cans and will contain roughly 5% alcohol by volume, which is similar to most beers.

Coca-Cola claims it will first be sold in Mexico later this year, but it sells its other hard seltzers and drinks in the United States through third parties.

There's no indication on when the canned cocktail will be available in supermarkets. More RTD choices are in the works, according to the business.

Coca-Cola also plans to debut "Fresca Mixed," a spirit-based cocktail produced in collaboration with Corona brewer Constellation Brands, later this year as part of its growth in the RTD sector.

It will join a roster of RTDs for the brand that includes Topo Chico Hard Seltzers and Simply Spiked Lemonade, all of which are manufactured in collaboration with MolsonCoors.

Premixed cocktails were the fastest-growing sector for spirits in 2021, according to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States.

The Coca-Cola brand has seen significant modifications in the last year, and not just in the alcohol department of stores.

After nearly 25 years, the business terminated the Honest Tea range and changed the Sprite logo.
