H-E-B-Pharmacy Grocery Chain Won Satisfaction Award
There's always something that keeps people coming back to their favourite grocery store, whether it's the bakery or the prices.
Most customers neglect the pharmacy when assessing what they enjoy about supermarkets, but it can make a major difference, and one grocery store beats all others.
Customers say H-E-B is the best grocery store pharmacy for filling prescriptions. The Texas-based chain has earned this honour for the second year in a row.
J.D. Power surveyed 12,100 shoppers who used pharmaceutical services in the last year for prescription filling, price, ordering, customer service, pickup and delivery, supermarket, mass merchant, and mail orders. Each store scored 1,000.
H-E-B scored 785, but many other chains followed closely. Wegmans placed second with 754 points, Publix third with 747, Stop & Shop fourth with 707, Albertsons fifth with 705 and Hy-Vee sixth with 701.
Falling below expectations at the lowest rating was Safeway with 655 points and then King Snoopers 10 below that with 644.
While H-E-B may be the best place to get your prescription filled, another ranking names a different regional grocery chain as the best place to go shopping overall.
According to America's Best Retailers of 2022, Wegmans has the best items, customer service, environment, accessibility, and layout.
The chain scored 92.25 points, topping Publix (91.67) and Harps (89.62). Top five included Sprouts and Whole Foods.
