Air-Fryer Corn on the Cob

The ideal summertime dish is corn on the cob, and when scorched on the grill, it makes an excellent side dish for a barbecue.

One of our favourite secret weapons is the air fryer. Most people use it to make foods that look like they have been "fried," such crispy air-fried Brussels sprouts or chicken cooked in the South.

Grilling corn takes around 20 minutes, and roasting it in the oven takes 30 to 45 minutes. Because of the air fryer's compact size and strong fan, it just takes approximately 10 minutes to produce a gorgeously caramelised surface.

For at least five minutes, preheat the air fryer to 400°F. In the meantime, take each ear of corn's husk and silk off. The ears are seasoned with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper after being sprayed with cooking spray.

You might wish to cut your corn into smaller pieces before adding it to the basket, depending on the size of your air fryer. The corn is ready when the kernels are delicate and the surface is gently browned.

Carefully remove the corn from the air fryer after it is done. Butter should be applied to each ear; ordinary butter is good, but flavor-infused butter is also a fantastic option.

Don't advocate air-frying corn that is still wrapped in its husk. Utilizing an air fryer for quick and effective cooking is one of the main benefits. Maintaining the corn in its husk can lengthen the cooking time and increase the chance of uneven cooking.

The husk can occupy a fair amount of space in most air-fryer baskets, which don't have much spare capacity. Instead, we advise taking each ear of corn's husk and silk off.

There are a few tips for keeping corn on the cob fresh and delectable when storing it. To prevent the corn from drying out, keep the husks on. Additionally, you should keep the corn chilled by putting it in the fridge.

A quick and simple way to enjoy leftovers is to reheat corn on the cob! Place the corn in the air fryer and heat it thoroughly for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from the air fryer once warm, then top with more butter and pepper.
