McDonald's Exploding With Deals and Celebrity Collaborations

For July, McDonald's appears to have some plans that could very well improve those sweltering days. We're all welcome to the fast food chain's own digital "summer camp," which it announced.

When you can stay at home and go to the nicest camp ever, why go to a sleepaway camp with its bugs, cramped cabins, and mystery meat.

Starting on Tuesday, the restaurant company will introduce Camp McDonald's, a 27-day virtual experience accessible through its app that will feature meal specials, first-look releases of apparel, and guest appearances by some of today's top bands.

On day one, a Retro Grimace pool float will be available for a $1 minimum purchase, and throughout the month, discounts will be offered on popular items like Chicken McNuggets, Big Macs, and McFlurries.

Every Sunday, McDonald's will give away front-row virtual seats to exclusive virtual concerts with musicians like Kid Cudi and Blackbear to make each weekend exciting.

In association with Free & Easy, Ma®ket, innisfree, and Kid Cudi, Thursdays will be set aside for the introduction of new items.

The remaining days will be occupied by food specials and tricks. Deals will let you sample fan favourites like the McFlurry Sandwich and the Apple Pie McFlurry.

The best part: There aren't any camp counsellors to ruin the fun or lines to wait in.

Sales increased dramatically when McDonald's introduced the Famous Orders platform two years ago, turning celebrity-favorite dishes into menu specials.
