The Louisiana Kitchen is once more enhancing its menu. Three previously discontinued menu items and one new item will both be available at Popeyes starting today for a short period of time.

The Hushpuppy Shrimp entrée will be making its long-awaited comeback to the southern restaurant after a six-year absence.

Eight butterfly shrimp are provided in the $6 dinner, which also includes a hot biscuit, a choice of a signature side, and a light, crunchy cornmeal shell.

The fast food restaurant is offering customers who order this boxed lunch using mobile order and pay a $1 discount as an incentive to do so.

Additionally, Popeyes is bringing back their Surf and Turf dish. The chain's renowned fried chicken sandwich and four Hushpuppy Shrimp pieces with a side of creole cocktail dipping sauce are now included in this $7 menu item.

The fast food chain is introducing two new dessert options on the sweeter side of things. It will bring back its well-liked Chocolate Beignets with powdered sugar coating, which were first introduced in December 2020.

A brand-new dessert on the menu is banana cream cake. It costs $2.99 and features whipped banana cream, Nilla wafer crumbs, and delicious vanilla cake on top.

Popeyes has provided consumers with plenty of excitement throughout the summer, in addition to the debut of the four new menu items. In collaboration with Grubhub, the chain reinstated its free sandwich deal towards the end of June.

Customers may receive a free chicken sandwich every Friday through August 26 when they order at least $20 worth of Popeyes on Grubhub. At checkout, the discount will be applied immediately, and delivery will be free.
