Taco Bell's Most Underrated Menu Item

Taco Bell really understands how to offer its consumers more than they ask for! You can't help but be grateful for the chain given that its menu is continually updated with fresh options and occasionally even brings back classics that were once popular.

The menu is anything but dull, with items like nacho fries and Mexican pizza as well as creative drink tastes like mango whip and wild cherry.

There is, however, one overlooked gem there that, despite not being the "primary event," is adored by millions of customers.

Hundreds of users flocked to the post to declare their appreciation for the modest side when it was decided to commemorate the saucy splendour that are the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes.

For many years up until March 2020, when Taco Bell announced some menu changes, the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes were a mainstay on the menu. The spuds were rejected by the consumers, and the business undoubtedly faced criticism as a result.

"Underrated? There was a whole campaign to convince Taco Bell to bring them back, lmao "a user stated. They are correct, too.

In order to get the company to change its mind, supporters even started a Change.org petition. Fortunately, Taco Bell complied. The potatoes returned in March 2021, a year later.

The absence of this menu item made Taco Bell consumers' hearts grow fonder, so even if it temporarily disappeared off the menu, you're in for a treat if you haven't experienced it or are a new client to Taco Bell.

It can be made in a variety of ways, but one Reddit user suggested that you "try it with tomatoes on it, it adds some pop to it." adding, "I add onions, tomatoes, and chipotle sauce... so amazing," and another.
