Two Steakhouse Brands Top List Americas Best Dine In Chains Longhorn

The annual American Customer Contentment Index survey, one of the most trustworthy measures of Americans' satisfaction with their national restaurant chains, has released its findings.

While some brands had a difficult year, others saw their efforts rewarded with strong results on a number of metrics that are essential to a positive customer experience.

The ACSI statistics for this year was obtained through email interviews with 20,143 randomly selected restaurant patrons between April 2021 and March 2022.

Participants were asked to rank chain restaurants they had previously visited on everything from the cuisine and service to the restaurant design and cleanliness.

The most highly rated restaurants in the full-service category are the well-known dine-in chains Longhorn Steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse, which have an average rating of 80 points.

However, with scores of 73, Applebee's and IHOP finished last in the group. IHOP's rating managed to decline 5% since the survey from the previous year.

In this year's poll, there were several more unexpected elements that swung the scales in addition to meal quality, staff civility, and order correctness.

Restaurants had to swiftly step up their game in the mobile area in the midst of the pandemic. Smaller chains and individual restaurants are providing apps that don't meet customer expectations due to a lack of resources.

Texas Roadhouse regularly maintains their online presence. Additional improvements were made in January of this year when the option of using a digital wallet and customised offers for visitors were added.

In March, the steakhouse implemented a pay-at-the-table system that lets patrons pay and leave whenever they want.
